daewoo set up dead easy ,slow to change channels,timer records to both dvd and vhs ok easy to set channel to record

This was bought primarily for VHS to DVD copy(Family archives) Instructions followed carefully, but after 2 minutes the recording stopped and monitor picture froze. Timer recorded for 2 minutes with same result.3 different DVDs tried. Same result. Daewoo told me this ws a faujlt and would replace. Good ideas did not accept that and would not replace until old one collected and examined by them. One week on and still no recording and no replacement.Not impressed with Good Ideas.
