I have had this particular TV for just over 2 weeks and have to say the quality of picture for the price is great. I haven't tried it with HD content other than with my X-Box360, but have to say games look fantastic played at full HD (1080P). Cannot comment reliably on the analogue TV reception as I don't get a good signal where I live, though the digital picture through the inbuilt freeview tuner proved to be unexpectedly very good given that the analogue reception can be pretty dodgy! I ordered this item on Tuesday and received it by 10am Saturday. I love it!! The picture comes into its own when playing a DVD. Freeview is quite clear too. Sky seems a bit grainy, I think I'll get SKY HD. I can't wait to see the 1080p go into action. Saving up for a Panasonic DMP35 BD Blu Ray Player.

I looked around lots before finally getting this , theres so much competition around this price range so i have to say some of the reviews here helped me out.Well i have to confirm that its a great tv and packed with all the features i wanted to compliment my current av setup.
Initial setup is a breeze and even with an indoor aerial(although a good one) it found all the freeview channels i know of. I had a freeview box before and the signal was never as stable on that as it is on this tv so ... Read More

FIRSTLY AS ADVERTISED I ORDERED A 37XV555DB BUT THE 37XV505D HAS BEEN DELIVERED .
NOW ITS VERY ANNOYING THAT YOU ARE NOT PHONED TO STATE THE TIME OF ARRIVAL AM PM LATE OR EARLY,SO I MISSED THE FIRST KNOCK ON THE DOOR SAT MORNING,BUT ITS OR NEARLY ITS HERE(CODES ABV) MON SALVO,
I LIKED THE LOOK OFF IT,ITS STYLISH
I READ CAREFULLY HOW TO OPEN AND FIX TOGETHER ,QUITE SIMPLE REALLY NEEDS TWO PERSONS.

I spent a great deal of time researching 37 inch full HD Lcd's and finally settled on this Toshiba 37XV505D (same spec as the 503D but slightly different cosmetically). For the price this TV is outstanding value. Feed a decent quality signal in this and the results are very, very good. Setting up the TV for Freeview is simple and takes a couple of minutes.
