EASY TO SET UP (AS LONG AS YOU HAVE AN HDMI LEAD AS IT DOESN'T COME IN THE BOX), THIS PLAYER CREATES GREAT QUALITY IMAGES -- MY FREE COPY OF CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WAS BREATH-TAKING. IT'S ALMOST AS GOOD AS MY TOSHIBA EP-30 HD-DVD PLAYER AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

When we received the item it rattled as if one of the circuit boards was loose. There was no apparent damage to the packaging. The unit failed to power up, so back to Amazon.

Fails to play disks correctly after just watching 2 movies, sound and video stutters making it unwatchable.
Sending back to amazon for refund.

Got my player today me and my girlfriend watched our first blu-ray and we were well pleased with it, goes great with my new 1080p 40inch samsung tv setup was easy looks great and a great price, and super fast delivery well happy all round.
Rating: - my unit failed after 24 hours
Bought it, set it up,used it once and then it failed - refused to read any disks and HDMI output disappeared and startup sound mysteriously disappeared. Returned up the Amazon. So may not be very reliable. Though as we did watch 27 dresses which was PAP it may just have decided to give up the ghost based on our appalling choice of movie. Have got a Sony one now which appears to still work.
