I wanted a portable DVD player for my child for a 10 car journey. I am no 'techie'and therefore reviewed peoples comments on here before deciding to purchase this. I was not disappointed.
It looks good, the picture is perfectly good for viewing in the car, its easy to fix in the car,in fact my only negative comment would be that without using headphones (3 year old refused to wear them), the sound could be better, although my child was perfectly happy.

I'm just an average joe so Im not going to go into speeds and feeds, I bought the above and think its looks the business. Its light, fits on the back head rest and comes with everything you could need. In short if your looking for a good buy then this is a safe bet.

I grew tired of looking for a dvd player, reading as many reviews as possible and still not coming up with any answers. I bought this particular one having read a review on this site from someone who bought this model express delivery to use on a flight next day. We were also going to fly next day with our young daughter. Rating: - Great Portable Device!
The PET830 is a good all round device. I use mine every night to watch a couple of episodes of my favourite shows on DVD before I go to sleep.
The device is really nice to look at with it's sleek black front and glossy white back. The stand feature is really good to place the device on a flat surface for hands free viewing.
The PET830 comes bundled with loads of extras (in car adapter, car headrest fitting etc) but I have not used any of these as I only used the player at home. ... Read More

Very sleek model, although the stand system is a little impractical when viewing from different vantage points. Also for the 8.5" size, could have had a slightly higher resolution.
