I bought this player after my Cyberhome DVD player mysteriously stopped working. (This was the perfect machine until it stopped!) I wanted something that could play DIVX files - this does, but will only recognise files on the first burn, not further files on a multi-session disc. Not great in my opinion.
I've been unable to make this DVD player multi-region so really have just waisted my money on something I can only now use once in a while.

You get what you pay for!...after reading numerous reviews, from what Hi-Fi, What Home Cinema and various others on Mr Patels corner shop shelf, i finally realised, like the corner shop.. u get Cheap & cheerless! Broke down just after 14 months. Made an annoying humming noise. Was tempramental throughout the year it decided to work as to what dvds it wanted to play. Truly had a mind of its own. Rating:  - Great little machine, one flaw
This is a great little player, it looks smart, it's played all the discs I've thrown at it so far, and the price is amazingly low. However it has one flaw in my opinion, it doesn't have a 'disc resume' feature. This means everytime you stop a disc and turn the player onto standby the disc loses its position and you have to scroll back to where you last watched up to when it comes to turning the machine back on.
