After looking for a splitter I came across this one, that thankfully, has separate volume controls (had been wondering whether these had been made. No I don't get out much). Neat. I suggest that if you do not own in-earphones then you should purchase a pair as I tested the sound quality of my headphones and found that even with the volume control up to the max the sound was very poor. Rating: - Cracking bit of kit !!!
This earphone splitter is perfect for sharing music, I bought it just in time to take on holiday for me and my better half! The built in volume controls provide independence with the music being supplied from one mp3 player. I found the length to be just about right and flexible rather than fixed like some of the other options. Great value for money.

These are a must for those who want to share their audio amongst friends. The only downside i can think of is the length of the cable. It's only about 10cm long. Other than that, a nice piece of kit. I've only managed to use it with one headphone and the sound quality is excellent.
