Rating: - Convenient for Storing Audio Books and Plays
I have a large collection of MD disks, storing audio books, plays and occasionally music, and I find MDs a very convenient way of storing these audio works. If you damage or lose a MD player, you can buy a new one for virtually a song (although nobody would want to hear me sing). I suppose MD players are today what cassette players (still available today also for a few £s) became when MDs came on the market - a somewhat outmoded storage medium.
