This is my first DVD recorder, and so I had great hopes for it. I was sorely disappointed by the Sanyo DVR S120. I was unable to find any reviews of this item before buying it, but it seemed like a good spec at a reasonable price. I don't think I'll go for a budget recorder again. I have had problems with it from the start, at first I thought it was just faulty as whenever the unit is switched off, it cannot be switched back on again.
