Rating:  - Developed faults within days
It worked fine at first.
Then the trouble started. Freezing frames. Image breakup. And the Dolby Digital signal from the coax audio output reverted to Dolby Pro Logic on my AV amp.
I have a 22 inch HD Ready LCD TV. And frankly it's hard to tell the difference between Scart and HDMI on such a small screen at normal viewing distances.
Rating:  - For the money, you cant go wrong !
I can't find anything to fault with this player. It plays everything I have burned to disc from my PC. The picture quality is amazing, just as good as my treasured Pioneer. The depth and variety of colour is awesome, with a good clear, sharp picture.
I only use a scart cable, so for a bog standard quality DVD player, this baby rocks !
This unit is truly a bargain.

Being a happy owner of an SD-330 and seeing the review in What HiFi, i bought the SD-350 without question.
All I can say is dissappointed! I would agree with the comments about the ridiculously bright blue light and the ridiculously shallow tray, but my main concern is the terrible DivX playback - the main reason I bought the player. Compared to the KISS DV-1500 I have, the playback is jerky and make you feel sick watching!

I bought this player as I wanted a player that could upscale, and also read DVD-RW discs. So it seemed to fit the bill.
Good image quality through HDMI (supposedly better image through component video), nice build quality, apart from the flimsy tray, and an annoying blue LED that fortunately can be turned off. Having just bought a Toshiba HD LCD with DVI input I thought I would try one of these at this very low price from Amazon. I chose it over the similar Samsung upscaling DVD player because my Toshiba TV remote will work the DVD too.
This is a very compact and slimline model and build quality is fair at this price point. Nowhere as well made as my (£200) Panasonic DVD recorder though. Remote is cheap feeling but works well.
