Just bought one of these today, two reasons for getting it were firstly the ability to have both VHS and DVD connected via a single SCART cable. Second thing was claimed compatibility with all writable DVD formats - makes the home movies a bit easier. DTS support in addition to Dolby AC-3 is pretty good as well.
