Rating:  - poor function
I have now purchased two of the above and am completely dissatisfied. I was aware of the remote set functionality, but was willing to proceed as I needed multiregion performance as I buy a lot from the USA, the goods not being available here.However, if any of my four players give problems it is these. Anyone with kids will know that there is never a concensus on film/music choice, hence the multiplicity of devices;however I find this brand to be a false economy so far.
Rating:  - Do not waste money on this!!
I bought this dvd player and two weeks later it started to present problems with its loading. It constantly says there is no disc when there is. It is almost like it only plays what it wants to play. And now it is not switching on anymore. I had to put selo tape to hold the little button that that switches on or it will not work at all!! I cannot return it anymore, so I am looking for another dvd player and it will not be a Daewoo!!
Rating: - Rattle Rattle
I was going to give this item a 4 or 5 until the player started rattling on every dvd I played. Half way through a movie rattle rattle rattle. Considering most people don't want to have to get up and knock their dvd player to stop it rattling half way through a movie, this player earns itself the lowest mark ever. Rating:  - Exellent budget multi region solution
After a previous machine decided ot give up the ghost, I purchased this machine for use in the bedroom. Although it does exactly what it says on the box, there are some niggling features, such as a very poorly designed remote control, lack of a scart socket (although you can use AV cables connected to a scart block). I eagerly awaited the arrival of this DVD player - what a let down! The model number and the make were exactly as Amazon had described but as for multi-region - FORGET IT!. I thought i had a problem when i saw the region 2 badge on the box but i hoped it had been boxed wrongly - no such luck.
