Rating: - Solid, reliable but frankly ugly machine
I bought one of these since my wife decided to re-decorate the living room which involved moving the TV from the left of the fireplace to the right which is a smaller alcove so there was no longer room for a seperate VCR and DVD player. Since I have a shelf full of home video's stretching back 15yrs I'm taking the chance to convert them to DVD. Good if you want to: 1. record DVD off TV, or off your Sky+ box 2. Dub your old VHS Videos to DVD

I needed to replace my old VHS player and looked around at prices. I decided that for an extra push on my budget I could get a DVD Recorder/VHS player. I purchased the DVHR250H and had it connected within 10 minutes of it being out of the box. It has a self set up mode that makes things very simple and the VHS to DVD recording works a charm.
