For your money you will not get better than this. The only format of disc it does not read is DVD-RAM. Also - well done amazon on a prompt delivery.

Had since way before Xmas, had no problems , very easy to use, free films are a bit naff, but for me £40 i am chuffed.

I bought this item for an Xmas present from Amazon. Was impressed when it came - nice and compact - seemed a bargain.
Another story altogether when the recipient came to use it. It had problems reading discs and when it did read them, it kept freezing.....tried another disc....and another......same thing happened. Then it just stopped reading discs altogether.
Also cost me nearly £14 to return to Amazon by recorded delivery. AND HAVE BEEN WAITING for a refund for over ... Read More

Very disappointed. Bought for Christmas present and within a couple of weeks was broken. Would not recommend this to anyone

My first DVD player. Not knowing what to expect I threw everything that looked like a cd into it. I have been pleased that it has recognised all the formats that I possess.I have been using it to mainly play VCDs burned on my computer from our digital camera. Looks nice and performs well.
