I bought this for my parents as a Christmas Present. It's a nice looking DVD Player with a collection of 50 movies for one very cheap price. It is remote controlled (though there are buttons on the front of the main unit) and the front LED panel turns shiny aqua blue when it's switched on. Offset from the grey finish of the unit, it is sweet! The back of the unit is covered in many types of connectors, including support for DD5.1 and surround sound.

At this price a quality DVD player would be a really good deal. When that DVD player comes with 50 movies it's an absolute steal!
The first thing that strikes you about the Prism 30080 is the Quality. It is very well made for the price and would embarrass some more well known (and more expensive!) manufacturers.
The front panel has a really 'expensive' looking mirror finish which sets off the blue LCD display well. This player looks sexy!

My only complaint about this package is that the choice of DVDs included are bad (but lets face it at this price this is no real surprise). You wouldn't inflict your worst enemy with some of these pictures, however, this does not mean that the package is not good value and well worth it. The DVD player is multi regional, which is in my opinion, vital. Furthermore they have included a few obligatory classics: Shawshank Redemption to name but one.

This DVD player is very compact,hardly takes up any space at all.Its DVD/SVCD/DVCD/MP3/CD/CD-R/CD-RW compatible It automatically converts NTSC and PAL discs so I didn't have to worry that it wouldn't be compatible with my TV.One downside was I couldnt power on the player from the remote I had to physically press the buttons
