Rating: - SONY MINIDISC MAGIC
minidiscs are so much better and robust than cds and this player is superb. why oh why dont sony promote minidisc more and why we can't buy albums on minidisc instead of crap cds i don't know
like betamax minidisc is surely doomed unless sony give up the royalties like phillips did with the cassette tape which let's face it were awful compared with 8 track
come on sony, this is the future

Any one buying this machine has a great digital recorder at a great price. The Sony JE480B has all the facilities of a more exspensive recorder, longplay recording, Shuttle, Track erase etc, and a great play back sound. The only small gripe I have is that this recorder does'nt have a digital output, but at this price you can't really complain. all in all a great entry level machine from Sony. Well worth spending your money on.
