I purchased this item as it professed to play pretty much all types of disc. it wouldn't.
after only a short period of time, i found that discs were jumping and freezing when being played. having already bought a second player via amazon, this one also did the same. i returned it to the provider at my own expense and received a replacement which was just as bad. - having suffered from KFC syndrome ( not understanding a word the seller said over the phone) i gave up trying to get my money ... Rating:  - Cheap and Cheerful
Very cheap, but extremely good value for money. Sometimes makes whirly noises when you first play stuff, but after its warmed up its great. Sometimes the cable wobbles about at the back and the picture goes a bit funny, but I think all players do this. Exceptional value for a multiregion DVD player

Bought this used/new for Xmas present, and I must say this player is outstanding value for money. I have seen many players for this price that have 1/3 of the features this has (Also seen many players costing 5 times as much, with 1/2 the features) The player is very slim, has an LCD, 2 mic inputs for Karaoke and is quite solid.

Rating: - SVA DVD Player
Not bad, for the price of 40 quid. Delivered fine, in 3 days. There are only two weak points - it makes quite loud noises when is loading (with some DVDs it continues even during several chapters) and does not play some CD-R, CD-RW. Twice got stacked during playback, might be dirty DVD, I don’t know, after retrying was OK. Otherwise good multi-region machine with slim design. I hope it will keep working without problems.

I was a bit anxious at first as I hadn't really heard of the brand, but I thought for the price £39.99, I'd take a chance. And am I glad I did!! This DVD player is amazing. It looks a lot more expensive than it is, it feels a lot more expensive than it is and the sound and picture quality are A1. The 5.1 decoder sounds great through my amp and it has played any region disc I've thrown at it. It even came with a scart lead at this crazy price!!
Buy one now, you won't be disappointed!!
