This is an absolutely fantastic machine. I just plugged it in and I was good-to-go... Brilliant! I can play all my region 1 & 2 DVD's on it. The picture quality is amazing... I do recommend that you buy a quality scart lead with gold connectors. Can't praise it high enough. Quality!

I actually bought this DVD player as a 2nd machine to partner my Panasonic DMRE55 DVD recorder as I managed to get this unit very cheaply. What a surprise I had when I hooked it up, the picture and audio quality is excellent!. It is multiregion which is great as I have a few Region 1 American discs, and as such will play back in both NTSC (US&Canada) and PAL(Europe)formats, provided of course you have an NTSC compatible TV set.

I've been using the Pioneer DV-360S for best part of a year now. I wanted a region free player just to play the cheaper, better american dvds. Plays them without a fuss, also plays vcd's and I am using it as a replacement for my audio cd player. Colour and picture quality is brilliant and the simple set up instructions can even be understood by any parent. The only drawback, and it is VERY picky, is that when you switch on it takes a few seconds before you can open the draw (I said it was picky).

Superb, easy, reliable, great picture & sound quality & all you would expect from a DVD, nice bonuses & v.easy to use the quality is of the highest standard in every way.
ten out of ten & highly recommended certainly one of the best DVD players you could get, even with the more modern one's in range, pioneer has given something hard to beat!
Rating: - 5 star item but you may be too late
excellent dvd player, looks great, plays great, multiregion, and a brand you can trust. but i am afraid this unit is now like gold dust i have tried to purchase another with no luck.
