Rating: - Good for the price
Had it up and running in no time at all. However, I was disapointed that there is no TOSLINK digital 5.1 output. I have connected it to the 5.1 discreet inputs of my amp and the sound is very good but I cannot use the DSP functions. Not tried all the various formats but it deserves 4 stars mainly because of the price.

Bought it a couple of weeks ago and so far it has sucessfully played DVDs, DVDRs, DVDRWs, CDs, CDRs, CDWRs, VCDs and Jpeg Photo CDs. Feels light and subsequently a bit cheap, but once it's under the telly, you wouldn't know it from a DVD player 4 times the price.
The only niggle I have is that if you press pause, or skip, or fast forward etc. when playing a DVD, instead of re-pressing the 'play/pause' button to resume play, you have to press 'stop' then 'resume'. A minor niggle ... Read More
