I took a £9.56 (incl.P+P) gamble on this, having read the Amazon reviews, and I'm pleased that I did.There's a slight tape hiss on quieter songs and between tracks but overall it's a really cheap way of playing my 1G iPod Touch through my car speakers.The sound is certainly as good as FM transmission/modulation systems which cost far more and need regular re-tuning to avoid interference.If you want audio perfection then look elsewhere and pay more but for less than £10 delivered you will not find ... I wanted to listen to my iriver clix 2 in the car as it only has a cassette player and I did not want the expense of a CD player,also mp3 players take up far less room than dozens of CD's.I had read so many bad reviews of various fm transmitter adapters I decided to try a tape adapter.This sony one is cheap and has excellent reviews,so I bought one.It is excellent value for money and produces quite good quality sound,certainly far better than the actual tape players does.It does create slight background ... I was nervous that this would not work because I was aware that when a cassette goes into my stereo it moves downwards behind a small metal plate - I was therefore concerned the cable would be cut or jammed - it wasn't a problem.
It does work best with the iPOD volume on full, rather than the stereo volume high up - there is a bit of hissing in between songs, but I guess that was always the case with tapes!!

So, I have bought this great Volkswagen Lupo, but alas!
