The main reason I chose this DVD player was the fact it was supposed to be multi region, however when I tried to play region 1 DVD's on it, it would only play them in black and white and with very poor sound quality. Be Ware!!

Easy to use, superior picture quality and great sounding. What more do you want out of your dvd player? and at £99.99 an absolute bargain! A must buy!

First of all, the unit is very light and slimline, as is the remote control, its that light you can easly forget you have it in your hand :)
Build quality is good, but not excellent, but thats nothing bad about the player, more to do with the fact that its their budget entry. The GUI menu is very good, and when switching the player on for the first time, you have to setup country etc. and then away you go !! I started to look for a DVD player with a few key requirements.
They were, in order of preference:
a) Should not burn the purse
b) Offer good quality sound and picture
c) Can double up as a MP3 player.
d) Be able to play DVDs from other regions.

I have tried and tested DVD players from the budget range to top spec branded DVD players, and I have to say for the price and value, this surely cannot be beaten.
