Rating: - Pioneer DVD7000 - Great, but .....
This is a fab piece of kit for all the reasons stated by the previous reviewer and Pioneer themselves. But - to use the latest 2 - 4x DVD-RW media, I have just discovered that a firmware upgrade is required!! This appears to involve obtaining a disk from Pioneer which is loaded into the DVD 7000 and sorts the problem. Why they couldn't have included the disk (or an advisory note) on issue is a mystery. There just isn't enough to say about this amazing piece of kit.
There are so many features and functions with this (the best) DVD recorder on the market by far. What is missing from most DVD-Rs is the fact that you can not play them back on most (if any) other DVD players, but with this one you can.
