Rating: - Deeply Flawed
Error 1) Bald guard from bus is being congratulated for saving the stabbed guard (who was actually saved by Kimble) - The stabbed guard then turns up later and everyone acts as if he's just been found "under the train".
Error 2) The supposedly "smart" Marshal tries to shoot Kimble during the prisoner visit when he obviously knows full well that he's innocent from the scene at the hospital.
Rating: - Great stuff!
I didnt think id like this film in all honesty! I asked my dad who Tommy Lee Jones was and 2 hours later he gets this film out and demands that i watch it! With realizing on half way through that 'Han Solo' (Harrison Ford) was Richard!
This film is truly a work of art and since my dad made me watch it iv been obsessed. Great acting and incredible story!

Just watched this on DVD. What a load of rubbish.

All i can say is wow!!! JFK and The Untouchables are second and third respectively in my all time list but The Fugitive stands tall above all else. This is a film you can watch over and over again without getting bored, and this is how all films should be judged. Mr Ford is Dr Richard Kimble in a story of good vs evil. This non stop action thriller is very pleasing on the eye and doesn't give you a chance to blink. His relentless search for the truth and out thinking the people chasing him is endearing ...
