Rating:  - Make sure you have the right scart cable
I recently bought this product and it works fine. However, at first I had problems with just getting a b/w picture. I initially assumed that my TV was not NTSC compatible (most UK bought TVs are nowadays) but after a bit of self-education via the web, realised that it was the scart lead - You must use a true RGB scart lead and not the composite scart lead that comes with the PS2 (with mine anyway). Rating: - Plays any DVD
I bought this product a year back but I can say that it does what it is supposed to do.
I have played region 1 DVDs on European PS2 using this. The only drawback is that everytime the console is switched off, I have to repeat the steps of loading the software.

bought region x great cd playes all regions now i know its not made by sony but i know loads of people use this and it works. i use the official sony av lead 2 which is by sony and thats good goona buy the official dvd remote control now today been reading the reviews on that and it looks good. but region x i can now play all films from the usa etc very good.

Doesn't work with the new slimline model and it should say so. Totally worthless, might as well buy a multi region DVD player because it can't change your PS2

I Purchased this back in December for my PS2, and yes, it works just like it's supposed too. It allows you to play Any region DVD on your PS2. My version didn't come with any Memory card attachment, or dongle, but once i ran it, it installed some settings on my memory card, and away it went.
However, i did notice that i needed to use the DVD region X DVD to watch Region 2 DVD's on my playstation. Region 2 is the home region for the PS2, and i was quite miffed that i had to stand there and ... Read More
