Rating: - A second read?
If you read the first book and had a nagging feeling that it didn't really explain the full ins and outs of the one minute management concept (i.e. after agreeing the objectives, is the next step really just to wait and either shake their had or kick them in the ass?) Rating: - Another quick-fix for incompetent managers & HR specialists
Despite the blurb, 'Putting the One Minute Manager to work' and all the One-Minute Manager books are about 'QUICK FIX'-nothing else. They make bad & incompetent managers feel good and make HR departments feel important through over simplistic rhetoric, projected theory and a hefty dose of touchy, feely 'Chicken-soup-for-the-soul' HR practice. This excellent sequel to the One ... Read More
